What this is

My Vinyl Collection is one person’s catalogue of their own records, kept for their own use and shared with people they choose. It is not a service, not a shop, and not a business: nothing is charged, nothing is advertised, and there is nothing to subscribe to.

Being let in

Access is granted by the owner, to an email address, one person at a time. It is theirs to give and theirs to withdraw, at any time, without notice and without a reason — a private collection is private. Signing in with Google does not grant access on its own, and asking for it does not oblige anybody to agree.

What to do with it, and what not to

• Read it, and enjoy it. That is what it is for.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself. Access is given to you, not to whoever you hand it on to.
• The photographs, notes and descriptions are the owner’s own work. Please do not republish them elsewhere without asking.
• Do not try to reach anything you have not been given access to, and do not collect the contents automatically.

No promises about it working

This runs on a hobby budget and is offered exactly as it is. It may be slow, it may be offline, it may change, and it may stop existing. Nothing here is warranted, and nothing about it should be relied on — the records are on a shelf somewhere regardless.

As far as the law allows, the owner is not liable for any loss arising from using it or from not being able to.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did, and carrying on using the collection after that is how you accept them.
